Depew, N.Y. – SKM Group, a full-service marketing communications agency, has several promotions to announce:
Mike Brown has been promoted to senior art director. He has been with SKM Group since 2008, when he was originally hired as a graphic designer. His most recent position was art director. Brown works in the agency’s Direct Marketing Center of Excellence, where one of his clients is SunTrust Bank. Brown has a BFA in graphic design from SUNY Fredonia. He is originally from Hamlin, N.Y., and currently lives in Hamburg with his wife and two children.
Katie Johnson has been promoted to account executive. She joined SKM in 2013 as an account coordinator, and her clients include Identifix and Northtown Automotive. She is a graduate of Canisius College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies. She is a Lancaster native and now lives in Buffalo.
Scott Kerrigan has been promoted to senior copywriter. He’s been with SKM since 2011, when he began as a proofreader, and his most recent title was copywriter. Kerrigan’s primary client is TOPS Friendly Markets. He received his BA in English and linguistics from the University at Buffalo and is originally from Elma. He currently lives in Depew.
Kimberly McCarthy has been promoted to senior account executive. She has been with the agency since 2012, working as an account executive for her primary client, TOPS Friendly Markets. She is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she earned her degree in communication and rhetorical studies, with a minor in retail management. She is an Amherst native and now resides in Kenmore with her husband.
Terri Swiatek has been promoted to senior interactive designer. She has been with SKM Group since 2013, when she was hired as an interactive designer. Swiatek’s primary clients include Identifix and SunTrust Bank. She graduated from Daemen College with a BFA in graphic design. She is originally from Grand Island and currently lives in Hamburg with her husband and son.
