Agency wins two Silver; three individual awards, including Student Best in Show
Depew, N.Y. – SKM Group, a full-service marketing communications agency, had a strong presence at the 2015 ADDY Awards sponsored by the Advertising Club of Buffalo at The Tralf on March 6, 2015.
The agency won two silver ADDYs, one in the direct marketing category for a piece it created for SunTrust Private Wealth, and another in the digital advertising category for its Identifix testimonial video. In addition, SKM graphic designer Brittany McCrone won silvers for Revolution Indoor Cycling, one each for its logo and in the integrated campaign category, which she created as part of a freelance project. Lisa Hinterberger, also a graphic designer, won gold and had the distinction of taking home the Student Best in Show Award for the Code Letterforms poster campaign she produced while a student at SUNY Fredonia last year.
“We make a conscious effort to recruit the most creative, innovative, and talented professionals in the business, starting first in our very own backyard,” said Larry Robb, CEO at SKM. “It’s extremely gratifying to see the awards we won were produced by a diverse mix of seasoned veterans and fresh faces.”
The theme of this year’s ADDYs was “See, the ADDYs are rewarding,” and a sellout crowd packed downtown Buffalo’s legendary performance space for food, drink, socializing and reflection on another year’s worth of work.
“Our true judges are our clients, who reward us with repeat business and referrals,” said Robb. “But of course, it’s nice to get kudos from industry peers, too.”
